Create automatic scaling actions

To quickly and easily create a typical autoscaling configuration for a scaling group:

1. Go to Virtual datacenters → select VM → Define scaling group
2. Define the scaling group and select, the option to Create autoscaling action
3. Save the scaling group
4. Select a metric that will trigger autoscaling actions
   
5. Optionally click Show more and edit the datapoints and threshold for autoscaling actions. The platform will automatically create alarms and alerts to trigger action plans with scaling actions after the metrics pass the thresholds.

6. Click Add

You can still manually create other action plans to scale in or out.
