Create an address range

There are two ways to create an address range in a provider that supports address ranges, including AWS and Azure ARM

To create the first address range for a virtual datacenter:

  1. Go to Cloud → Virtual datacenters
  2. Click + Add to create a virtual datacenter
  3. Select a provider that supports address ranges, for example, Amazon AWS and Azure ARM
  4. Select Custom private network
  5. Enter the details of the virtual datacenter and the custom network
  6. For the Address range, enter a network address in CIDR format. Usually the network will have a netmask of /16, for example, 192.168.0.0/16.

To create an additional address range.

  1. Go to CloudVirtual datacenters → select a virtual datacenter
  2. Go to Network → Address ranges
  3. Click the + Add button
  4. Enter a network address in CIDR format that is compatible your provider. Usually this network will have a netmask of /16, for example, 192.168.0.0/16.
