Create an address range
There are two ways to create an address range in a provider that supports address ranges, including AWS and Azure ARM
To create the first address range for a virtual datacenter:
- Go to Cloud → Virtual datacenters
- Click + Add to create a virtual datacenter
- Select a provider that supports address ranges, for example, Amazon AWS and Azure ARM
- Select Custom private network
- Enter the details of the virtual datacenter and the custom network
- For the Address range, enter a network address in CIDR format. Usually the network will have a netmask of /16, for example, 192.168.0.0/16.
To create an additional address range.
- Go to Cloud→ Virtual datacenters → select a virtual datacenter
- Go to Network → Address ranges
- Click the + Add button
- Enter a network address in CIDR format that is compatible your provider. Usually this network will have a netmask of /16, for example, 192.168.0.0/16.
