Create cost usage reports as CSV files

To create CSV files you need the View bills privilege to access the Control view on the Billing tab and the Manage cost usage report files privilege. Each user generates their own CSV files to download. You cannot share access to CSV files with other users.

From the main Cost usage reports screen, to create a CSV file of the report, click the folder create cost usage file folder button.

On the Saved report filters tab, you can also select a report and create a cost usage file.

And to automatically create CSV files for your report, you can click the calendar schedule button and select from the calendar options.

When your cost usage file is ready, it will display on the Files tab so you can click the download button to save it to your local system.

When you download a report, the report CSV file is in a ZIP archive.

For CSV cost usage reports, the default configuration is as follows.

  • You can store up to 10 reports at a time

  • You can create up to 10 reports per day.

  • A report expires after 3 days (72 hours)

  • Abiquo will remove expired reports every 25 hours.

  • Abiquo will store reports in the /opt/abiquo/reports-costusage folder

You can change this configuration with Abiquo configuration properties for costusage.
