User interface improvements

This page describes some positive changes to the Abiquo UI in Abiquo 6.1. Abiquo now stores the date when you originally created and when you captured or onboarded a VM. And when you create a VM, it enables you to filter templates better.

VM creation date and onboarding date

When you onboard a VM, the VM details panel now displays the Creation date from the hypervisor or public cloud platform, and the date that the VM was registered in Abiquo (Known since).

If the VM was created in the platform then the Creation date and registration date will be the same.

Filter templates when creating a VM

When you are creating a VM, you can now filter VM templates by OS type, and order by Creation date with the Newest first option.
