Create virtual datacenters without networks
From Abiquo 6.1.1, in private cloud, users can create a virtual datacenter with no private network. In previous versions, Abiquo always created a default private network, even if the default network was another type of network, such as an external network.
From Abiquo 6.1.2, Abiquo support for the creation of VDCs with no network in the platform is as follows.
Provider | Support |
---|---|
Private | The |
Private with NSX-T | The |
Amazon | The |
Azure | A private network is required |
GCP | Not applicable |
OCI | A private network is required |
Set default networks
To create another type of default network, you can select the default network for an enterprise in a datacenter. To do this, go to Users view and edit the enterprise. Then go to Allowed and edit the datacenter, then go to Default network.
After you create a virtual datacenter, you can set the default network to be a private, external, or public network. To do this, edit the network in the virtual datacenter and select the Default checkbox.
