Introduction to DRaaS

The Abiquo disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS) feature supports Zerto with vCenter. This feature is a separate plugin with its own license.

The administrator registers the Zerto configuration and grants privileges to users to protect VMs. To protect a VM, users just click the shield button on the VM control panel. Then Abiquo automatically creates a protection group for the VMs in the virtual appliance and protects the VM. 

The administrator can capture a replicated VM into a separate recovery datacenter.
