Standardized metrics

Standardized metrics offer compatibility of measures across different hypervisor technologies and providers. You can use standardized metrics for automation triggered by metrics alerts and for virtual appliance specs that are blueprints to save configurations for use in multicloud environments. 

Standardized metrics require compatible built-in metrics because they are converted, for example, CPU time in milliseconds could be converted to a percentage of total CPU time in milliseconds.

The following table describes the standardized metrics that the platform offers. 

 The user can work with standardized metrics in the same way as for regular metrics. Standardized metrics support metric dimensions.
