Microsoft users service

Abiquo can connect to a Microsoft account and manage the users. 

Privileges: Use enterprise services and Run actions on usable services, or Manage enterprises

The actions you can perform are:

  • Add user

  • List users

  • Delete user

  • Update user

Here are examples of how to list users and how to delete a user.

To list the users in your Microsoft account:

  1. Go to Users view 

  2. Select your keynode enterprise and go to Service configurations

  3. On the "Microsoft users service", on the right hand side of the screen, from the options menu, select "List users"


The platform will list the users in the Microsoft account.

To delete a user from your Microsoft account:

  1. Go to Users view 

  2. Select your keynode enterprise and go to Service configurations

  3. On the "Microsoft users service", on the right hand side of the screen, from the options menu, select "Delete user"

  4. From the Users list, select the user to delete 

    1. To display the details of the user, click the magnifying glass zoom button.

  5. To confirm the delete, click Accept

 


Microsoft Azure service

Abiquo can connect to a Microsoft Azure account and manage the subscriptions. 

Privileges: Use enterprise services and Run actions on usable services, or Manage enterprises

The actions you can perform are:

  • Add subscription to enterprise

  • Cancel subscription

  • Create subscription

  • Enable Azure Plan (if not enabled already)

  • List subscriptions

Here is an example of how to list subscriptions.

To list the subscriptions in your Microsoft Azure account:

  1. Go to Users view

  2. Select your keynode enterprise and go to Service configurations

  3. On the "Microsoft Azure service", on the right hand side of the screen, from the options menu, select "List subscriptions" and confirm.

To onboard an existing Azure Plan or create a new Azure Plan for a subscription, select Enable Azure Plan.


Microsoft Office service

Abiquo can connect to a Microsoft Office account and manage products. 

(info) The Abiquo Microsoft Office service now offers the Microsoft new commerce experience products.

Privileges: Use enterprise services and Run actions on usable services, or Manage enterprises

The actions you can perform are:

  • List purchased products

  • Purchase a product

  • Update purchased product (to update quantity and state)

  • List products assigned to user

  • Remove a license from user

  • Assign a license to a user

Here are examples of how to list products assigned to a user.

To list the licenses in your Microsoft Office account:

  1. Go to Users view

  2. Select your keynode enterprise and go to Service configurations

  3. On the "Microsoft Office service", on the right hand side of the screen, from the options menu, select "List products assigned to a user"

  4. Select the user

The platform will display the products assigned to the user.

To purchase a product, you will need to select the SKU, the quantity, and the Billing cycle. For example, for a trial license.


Check the state of the Microsoft products service and subservices

The platform will connect to the Microsoft products service to obtain details of the service and the licenses purchased.

Privileges: Use enterprise services

To check the status and details of the Microsoft products service.

  1. Go to Users view

  2. Select an enterprise and go to Service configurations

  3. Edit the Microsoft products service or a subservice and go to State

For the Microsoft products service, the Microsoft Users service, and the Microsoft Azure service, Abiquo displays the domain, and tenant ID.  

For the Microsoft Office products service, it displays the domain, purchased products, and tenant ID.

To go directly to the State display, click on the round state indicator beside the service name


User menu options for services

There are two sets of privileges to access this service from Users view:

  1. Access Users view and Manage enterprises OR

  2. Access Users view and Use enterprise services and Run actions on allowed services.

If you do not have Users view, to access the Microsoft products service from the user icon menu .

  1. Select the user icon in the bottom left corner of the screen

  2. From the user icon menu, select the Enterprise services option.
