Add the Azure MySQL service to Abiquo

The Azure MySQL service enables you to Manage Azure database for MySQL service (with a single server) as part of your Abiquo multicloud platform.

To add the Azure MySQL service to Abiquo and make it available for administrators to offer to tenants, create a Default service configuration.

Privileges: Manage default services

To create a default service configuration:

  1. Go to Catalogue → Services

  2. Click + add and select the "AzureMySQLService"

  3. For General information you can configure the NameDescription, and Icon

  4. For Properties, you do not need to enter any values because the service can access the Azure credentials of the enterprise in an Azure region

  5. Go to the Can be used by tab and configure the service for customers of your reseller

    1. Click + add, for Entity select Location. Click Add

  6. Click Save

Abiquo will add the Default service configuration for the Azure MySQL service, and administrators can now add this service to Azure locations.

Privileges: Manage location services

  1. Go to myCloud → Global, select Azure, and onboard or create a resource group.
    See Manage resource groups

From this service configuration, users can list (and then onboard), and create Azure MySQL for single server instances.
