Add an AWX repo service for users

To enable users to work with AWX templates, create a repo service configuration in an enteprise, location, or virtual datacenter.

Privileges

To add a service to an entity, if the administrator does not have the privileges to manage the entity, then they will require the equivalent XaaS privilege

  • Manage enterprise services

  • Manage location services

  • Manage virtual datacenter services

 

  1. Go to Users, or myCloud → Locations, or Virtual datacenters

  2. Select an enterprise, location, or virtual datacenter, and go to Service configurations

  3. Click + add and select "AWXRepoService"

  4. For General information, for example, set the Icon and Description of the service

  5. Go to Properties

    1. If you didn't enter the AWX connection details in the default service configuration, enter them now

  6. Click Save

  7. To add a specific AWX workflow template service for users:

    1. On the action menu on the right side of the Repo service, select "List workflows"

    2. Select a workflow

    3. Enter the details of the service as required

After Abiquo creates a template service, the green status indicator shows that it is ready to use. From the AWX template service configurations, users can launch the AWX workflows.
