Abiquo on premise billing

On-premise billing for private cloud is integrated into the Abiquo platform.

Abiquo on-premise billing records your resource usage on an hourly basis, and uses Abiquo pricing models to create monthly bills per calendar month, using UTC dates and times.

The following diagram shows the basic functionality of on-premise billing in Abiquo 6.1.0.

In Abiquo 6.1, on-premise billing does not create a DBMS or CSV file with billing data. The billing data is available in the Abiquo database and through the Abiquo API. You can also use the Abiquo CSV generator to create a CSV file.

After you enable on-premise billing, the data will display on the user dashboard for the ONPREMISE provider. If you are already using the previous Abiquo private billing tool, you should disable it before enabling on-premise billing. See Configure on premise billing.
