Restrict VMs for provider services

Introduction to restricted VMs and virtual appliances

You can use this feature to let users outsource VMs or for running provider applications in the user’s virtual datacenter to bill them with the user’s virtual resources.

You can restrict virtual appliances VApps, which are like groups or folders for VMs. This will hide and block the VApps and their contents so users without privileges cannot view or work on them.

Privileges: Manage restricted VApps and VMs, View restricted VApps and VMs, Restrict VM

The platform does not display restricted VApps and their VMs and scaling groups for a user without the privilege to view them.
