Abstract datastore tiers for storage service levels

To control storage service levels across multiple datacenters in your private cloud platform, use Abstract datastore tiers.

In Abiquo, datastore tiers enable you to group hypervisor datastores into storage service levels. See Manage datastore service levels with datastore tiers

Abstract datastore tiers are groups of services levels in one or more datacenters.

To display abstract datastore tiers, go to Infrastructure → Abstract datastore tiers.

To display the datastore tiers in an abstract datastore tier, select the abstract datastore tier.

To create an abstract datastore tier, click the +add button and enter a Name and save.

To add datastore tiers to an abstract datastore tier, go to Infrastructure → Private → select datacenter → Datastore tiers → create or edit datastore tier → select Abstract datastore tier.

There is a widget to display abstract datastore tiers and their usage and limits by enterprise on the dashboard. See Dashboard widgets#Abstract datastore tiers

Note that this widget will display all datastore tiers that are:

• Enabled and allowed to the enterprise

• Disabled
