Virtual Machine Usage Report

Description

This report identifies VMs running within the Abiquo environment, and reports numerous virtual and physical attributes for each VM. You can use the input filters to report on a subset of the available VMs.  To use this report, you must have the Abiquo ‘View datacenter details’ privilege, because the report references and displays the physical location of VMs.

Input parameters

Parameter	Optional	Description	Notes
Deployment Start Date		Only include in the report Virtual Machines deployed on or after this date	If this parameter is empty, then no Deployment Start Date filter is used
Deployment End Date		Only include in the report Virtual Machines deployed before this date	If this parameter is empty, then no Deployment End Date filter is used
Enterprise		Only include VMs from the specified Enterprise
Virtual Datacenter		Only include VMs from the specified VDC
Virtual Machine		Only include the specified VM
Virtual Machine Owner		Only include VMs from the specified owning User

Report content

The report will list all matching VMs in the report, broken down by their physical location (Datacenter / Rack / Host Server). For each VM found, report the following key attributes of the VM:

• VM CPU, Memory, Local Storage, External Storage
• VM Name and Virtual Appliance
• Owning Enterprise / VDC / User
• Date of deployment
• Current VM State
• Image and Cost Code
