VM disks that are created on the hypervisor datastore. This includes non-persistent VM system disks and hard disks.
These disks will be deleted when the VM is undeployed.
Gigabytes of disks created on datastores.

Memory

Gigabytes of RAM used by VMs that are currently deployed

Ext. Storage

Volumes of storage managed on external storage devices, or in public cloud cloud providers.
Gigabytes of volumes created in VDCs.

VLANs

Private VLANs defined in Abiquo. A default private VLAN is always created when you create a virtual datacenter.
Number of VLANS created in VDCs

Public IPs

Number of IP addresses purchased or reserved in public VLANs

Repository

NFS Repository space used by the enterprise in the Apps library including templates and instances but not conversions (GB).
Available for enterprises only, not individual virtual datacenters

Virtual machines

Number of VMs deployed by the enterprise

DR protected VMs

Number of VMs protected by the disaster recovery service

Screenshot: For the current enterprise the chart displays resource usage with soft and hard limits.

 Key:

  • Blue shading = used

  • Orange line = soft limit

  • Orange shading = soft limit exceeded

  • Red line = hard limit

Options: Show soft limits; show hard limits; Type selector (enterprise or virtual datacenter); Metrics display, order, and graphic or number only.

The default view for cloud users is Enterprise resources for virtual datacenters only. To display tenant metrics, the user must have the Display enterprise statistics privilege. To display limits, the user must have the Display enterprise limits in statistics privilege.

Virtual datacenters

This widget lists the virtual datacenters of the current enterprise on the platform, including:

  • Name

Options: Provider selector (public cloud providers or private cloud); Provider selection.

To open a virtual datacenter, double-click on the virtual datacenter Name.

Virtual appliances

This widget lists the virtual datacenters of the current enterprise on the platform, including:

  • Name

  • Location

  • Currently running VMs / Total VMs deployed

Options: Provider selector (public cloud providers or private cloud); Provider selection.

To open a virtual datacenter, double-click on the virtual datacenter Name.

Virtual machines

By default this is a list of metrics of all the VMs in the platform, including:

  • Virtual machine name

  • Average CPU

  • Average RAM

Options: Provider selector (public cloud providers or private cloud); Provider selection; Virtual datacenter selection; Virtual appliance selection

Color code:

  • 0% <= Green <= 60%

  • 60% < Orange <= 80%

  • 80%  < Red <= 100

To go to the VM, double-click on the VM Name.

Virtual machine snapshots

If the user has the privilege to View enterprise snapshots list, this widget will display all of the snapshots in the user's tenant with:

  • Name

  • Virtual machine

  • Include memory

  • Size

  • Creation date

Configuration options: Title.

To jump directly to the VM with the snapshot, double-click on the Snapshot entry.

Events

This is a condensed view of the Events view logs. It is controlled with the same privileges as the Events view, and it will display events depending on the user's role, privileges and scope.

Privileges: Display all events for current enterprise, Display all events

Options: Severity selector (All, ERROR, INFO, and WARN); Entity selection; Entity name text filter; Last days number filter

Click on an event to display the Event details popup

Last deployed VMs

This is a list of the last VMs deployed by the enterprise on the platform. It can be filtered to display the last VMs deployed by each user. The details include:

  • Virtual machine label

  • Creation user

  • Start date and time

  • State

Options: Provider selector (public cloud providers or private cloud); Provider selection

To open the virtual appliance that contains a VM, double-click on the VM icon.

Last triggered alerts

This is a list of the last alerts triggered for the enterprise on the platform. The details include:

  • Alert

  • Date and time

  • Active

Entity monitoring

The Entity monitoring widget will display the monitoring of a selected metric for a configured VM, VApp, or scaling group.

On the metric display the user can filter and refresh as for other monitoring panels.

Last bills

The Last bills widget displays the last bills for public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google, and for private cloud.

To display billing data, the administrator must configure access to billing data from the provider (see Display cloud provider billing data), and the user must have the View bills privilege.

Privileges: View bills

To view more details of the latest bills, click the link to Show more bills. To display more details, mouse over the chart.

To display the chart in stacked format, click the Stacked button. To display the bill chart in grouped format, click the Grouped button.

To display a bill for a single provider, split by the service categories in the bills, select the provider from the pull down menu.

Options: Last months filter; Default provider filter; Provider selector; Default currency filter; Currency selector; Default chart type; Chart selector

Estimated bill

The Estimated bill widget will display the estimated bill for the current period for public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, Google, OCI, VCD, and private cloud. The platform calculates the estimated bill using a linear regression of daily costs for the current period, and the change in spend from the last bill for the selected provider. The display billing data, the user must have the View bills privilege.

Privileges: View bills

The administrator can configure multiple currencies and conversion factors. See Configure Abiquo UI
