Create a dashboard
According to your user privileges, you can create dashboards of the following types: Default (whole platform), Reseller, Enterprise, and User.
There are separate privileges to display and manage each type of dashboard.
Privileges: Manage default dashboards, Access enterprise metadata (dashboards), Manage enterprise metadata (dashboards), Access user metadata (dashboards), Manage user metadata (dashboards)
User dashboards display only in the user’s enterprise
To create a dashboard tab:
Go Home view
At the right of the Dashboard tabs, click the + add button
Enter the dashboard details
For the Type, select from
Default
,Enterprise
, orUser
, andReseller
(for reseller enterprises only)For the Lang code, enter your UI language code. You can customize or translate the dashboard labels and save them in a file (with a name in the format displayed) in the lang folder of the UI.

Click Save
Add widgets and configure them as required. See Add widgets to a dashboard (below) and Dashboard widgets
After you have finished, click Save dashboard changes
Add widgets to a dashboard
If you have the privileges to manage a dashboard, you can add any available widget to the dashboards.
To add widgets to a dashboard, do these steps.
Privileges: Manage default dashboards, Access enterprise metadata (dashboards), Manage enterprise metadata (dashboards), Access user metadata (dashboards), Manage user metadata (dasboards)
Go to Home view → select a dashboard
Click Add widget
From the Widgets catalog, select a dashboard widget. Configure the widget as required
Click Add
Repeat for more widgets, then click Save dashboard changes

Resize dashboard widgets
To resize widgets on a dashboard, the user must have permission to manage the dashboard. The user can click on the edge of a widget and drag to resize it. But if the widget has a scroll bar on the bottom or right-hand side, the user may not be able to resize in this direction.
Restore the default dashboard
To restore the predefined Default dashboard:
Go to Configuration view → Dashboards
Click the Restore default dashboards button at the bottom of the page
The platform will now display the Metrics, Hybrid, and Optimization tabs only.
Display billing data on the dashboard
By default for cloud users, on the Last bills and Estimated bills widgets, the default text is "No data available".
To enable the display of billing data:
Configure the platform to obtain billing data from the cloud provider or private cloud.

Users may have to wait for the platform to obtain billing data from the provider and estimate bills.
To refresh the dashboard, click the Refresh button in the top right corner of the page.
