Users can create more than one action plan for a VM or scaling group. . Users can also use resource tag filters to select a dynamic group of VMs or scaling groups to run an action on.  

Action plans can incorporate tasks in multiple cloud locations and they can be triggered by monitoring alerts from custom metrics.
