Configure cost usage reports

Users can display cost usage reports, create report filters, generate CSV reports, and schedule reports. In Abiquo 6.2.0, users can also display cost usage reports by tags.

To let users work with the cost usage reports feature, perform the following configuration steps.

  1. Configure on-premise billing or public cloud billing dashboards

    1. Public cloud

      1. Create a public cloud region

      2. For resellers, create a tenant hierarchy

      3. Add Abiquo enterprise properties for billing dashboards

      4. Add public cloud pricing credentials, and reseller customer billing credentials

      5. Generate billing

    2. On-premise billing

      1. Activate on-premise billing

      2. Assign a pricing model to enterprises

  2. Optional configuration

    1. Assign privileges as required:

      1. View bills to access Control view and display reports, and privileges to

      2. Manage cost usage report files

      3. Manage cost usage report filters

      4. Schedule to generate cost usage CSV files
