To display public cloud billing data or synchronize public cloud price lists, the tenant will require credentials to access the public cloud pricing information.

Before you begin:

  1. Obtain pricing credentials for your provider. See Obtain public cloud credentials

Privileges: Manage provider credentials

To add separate public cloud pricing credentials:

  1. Go to Edit enterprise Credentials → Pricing

  2. Enter the credentials as described in the table below

  3. Click Add account. The platform will validate your credentials with the cloud provider and save them

  4. Finish editing the enterprise and click Save

Provider

Select public cloud provider or vCloud Director region

Access key ID

Identity to access the cloud provider price list data via API. For example, a username, API access key ID, subscription ID and certificate, or another account identifier.

  • The format for standard Azure accounts is 
    normal#subscription-id#app-id#tenant-id#offer-durable-id

  • The format for Azure CSP accounts is 
    csp#tenantId#clientId#accessToken#refreshToken

  • The format for Google accounts is
    projectId#clientId#clientEmail#privateKeyId

  • The format for OCI accounts is
    tenancy#user#fingerprint

Secret access key

Key to access the cloud provider price list via API. For example, an API key or other API credential, or the password for the application. For OCI this is the private key in PEM format

Current credentials

Provider credentials that are already in the platform

Create account

For resellers with Amazon, Azure ARM, and other partner accounts, click the enterprise create account button to create a customer account in the provider and add it to an enterprise in the platform

Generate billing

For partner or standard accounts, click the Generate billing button to request billing data from the provider on demand. This functionality requires the privilege to Generate billing and by default there is a limit of 2 requests per day.
