To add the AWX service to Abiquo and make it available for administrators to offer to tenants, create a Default service configuration.

Privileges: Manage default services

  1. Go to Catalogue → Services and click + add

    Add a default service configuration
  2. Select AWXRepoService

     Select the AWX repo service
  3. For General information you can configure the NameIcon, and Description

  4. Go to Properties

    1. Optionally, enter the AWX endpoint and credentials.
(warning)  If you have more than one AWX installation (e.g. one per enterprise, datacenter) when you create the service for each datacenter, add the AWX endpoint and credentials then.
As we will add this to an enterprise with its own AWX installation, in this screenshot the AWX endpoint and credentials are empty.
You cannot overwrite a configuration made at a higher level.

    2. Enter the Abiquo endpoint for the Abiquo API

      Configure the AWX service properties
  5. Go to the Can be used by tab. The following points give some examples of the service configuration levels.

    1. If you have one AWX server for your platform, e.g. for administrators to use, you can configure this service at the tenant level

      1. Click + add, for Entity select Enterprise

    2. If you have one AWX server per datacenter, you can configure this service at the datacenter level.

      1. Click + add, for Entity select Datacenter

    3. Additionally, for cloud users, you can configure this service at the virtual datacenter level

      1. Click + add, for Entity select Virtual datacenter

  6. Click Accept

Abiquo will add the Default service configuration for the AWX Repo service, and administrators can now add this service to the lower level entities.
