Protect VM feature summary
The Protect VM feature uses a padlock button on the VM control panel
Privileges:Â
Protect virtual machine
Blocks actions on a VM in the platform by users who do not have the privilege
The VM must be
ON
,PAUSED
, orOFF
The Cause (or reason) for protecting the VM will display together with the administrator's Name in the VM General details section
A padlock symbol displays on the top left corner of the VM icon
The status bar of the VM icon changes to display
