Add the Amazon RDS service to Abiquo

To add the RDS service to Abiquo and make it available for administrators to offer to tenants, create a Default service configuration.

Abiquo should obtain the credentials with an extractor
  5. Go to the Can be used by tab. Here you can specify where the service will appear in the platform.

  6. To enable the users to work with the service in AWS cloud locations:

    1. Click + add, for Entity select Location

    2. For Function select location_provider_type and enter the Type as AMAZON

  7. Optionally, to enable users to deploy RDS instances in the context of an Abiquo VDC (Amazon VPC)

    1. Click + add, for Entity select "Virtual datacenter"

    2. For Function select location_provider_type and enter the Type as AMAZON.

  8. Click Accept

Abiquo will add the Default service configuration for the RDS service, and administrators can now add this service to AWS locations and virtual datacenters.

The service is now available for administrators to add for users
