Abiquo 5.2 introduces the DRaaS feature with an initial integration of Zerto into the multi-cloud platform to provide self-service disaster recovery on demand for your users.
To start working with the DRaaS feature, in the Infrastructure view, you can define the protection managers.
For each protection manager, specify the recovery protection manager.
Also select the Allowed datacenters where users can work with these protection managers.
You can later edit the protection manager.
In the cloud, you associate the protection managers with virtual datacenters to configure the virtual protection groups.
On the VM control panel, there is a new button to Enable DR protection or Disable DR protection for the VM. The user can easily protect a VM with DRaaS, by just clicking the button.
Also at the virtual appliance level.
And on the VM icon, the DRaaS shield symbol is colored if the VM is protected.
