Zerto will not protect certain VM configurations and this .
This limitation is described at Zerto Documentation of unprotected_vms_learn_why.
For example, Zerto will not protect vSphere VMs that have DVDs or IDE devices.

  1. Select the VM and click the shield Enable DR protection button
