The Home view dashboard gives you statistics and an overview of dynamic dashboards give you information about the resources you are managing on the platform.

For the administrator, the Home view dashboard provides statistics and  an overview of the resources an The Abiquo Home view contains dynamic dashboards to give you tables and graphical information about the resources you are managing on with the platform. It is the first screen you will see when you log in.    To return to this view from any other screen, click the Home icon    Image Removed   .    The home view dashboard is a general view of the resources currently being used by your enterprise in four different panels, described from left to right, top down:    Enterprise Resources,    Virtual appliances,    Virtual datacenters, and Events.

Tip

To jump to a virtual datacenter or VM double click on it in the Virtual datacenters or VMs table. 

All information shown is contextualized for the current user and this documentation assumes that the user has administrator privileges.

Selecting an enterprise

To display the dashboard statistics of an enterprise, click on the enterprise in the Enterprise list. The name of the selected enterprise will display above the dashboard panels.

Privilege: List all enterprises, Allow user to switch enterprise

To switch to another enterprise to administer that enterprise, click the switch enterprise button beside a name in the enterprise list. The name of the enterprise that you are currently using will be displayed beneath your username in the top right-hand corner of the screen. When you log out and log in again, the enterprise will  not  be reset. All your actions with virtual datacenters, virtual appliances, VMs and VM templates will apply to the current enterprise until you switch to another enterprise

Enterprise resource statistics

This screen shows statistics of the resources used by the current or selected enterprise and/or the selected virtual datacenters in all the accessible datacenters. The view will depend on the user's scope and privileges. See  Enterprise Statistics  and  Virtual Datacenter Statistics  for more information.

By default, the statistics are updated at the interval set in  Configuration View  on the Dashboard page of the System Properties tab with the "Refresh interval for dashboard" parameter.
