For a test platform, you may wish to allow let users to work with more compute resources than are present in your servers.

1. Go to Infrastructure → Private → select

2. Select a datacenter

3. If you are in Map view or Statistics view, click the Server symbol in top right-hand corner to go to Servers view, at the top of the Datacenters list, click the Server symbol

4. Go to Allocation rules

5. On the Global panel, click the + add button

6. Select the "Load level compute" rule type

   1. If you are using vCenter clusters as servers, select Server

   2. If you are using vCenter hosts, select Server or Cluster

7. Complete the dialog, selecting the server and setting :

   1. Optionally, select a specific server

   2. For RAM and CPU cores set values above 100%

   for CPU and for RAM.
