In Abiquo 6.1, you can activate the Backup GB usage in the platform in Configuration view on the Billing tab, as for other usage types.

The platform obtains storage used by the backup details from the backup systemresults. In this initial version, Abiquo supports Backup GB for Veeam.
If you have prices for Backup GB in the enterprise pricing model, then Abiquo will create billing data for this usage.To bill users for their backups, edit your pricing models and in the Resource prices section, for your datacenter, on the Prices tab, set a price for Backup per GB.

To generate the backup billing data, the platform sums obtains the total storage occupied by the for a backup (from the backup systemresults), divides by time that the backup is valid (not expired), and then applies the price of Backup GB.
