This page describes how to set up an integration with a disaster recovery system for use in private cloud data centers on the multi-cloud platform, so that users can enable disaster recovery for their VMs with self-service. Create a protection manager

Go to Infrastructure → Protection managers
Click the + add button and enter the General information about the protection manager
For the Endpoint enter the URL for connecting to the protection manager API.
For Zerto 9.7 U2, use the URL and the appropriate port (by default it is
443
).
For example:https://zerto.host.domain
For and the port ( the default is443
and you do not need to enter this value)Zerto v8.5, add
/v1/
at the end of the URL.
For example:https://zerto.host.domain:9669/v1/
with/v1/
at the end of the URL.
For the User and Password, enter the credentials for the disaster recovery system ZVM appliances
For the Recovery protection manager, select another Zerto Protection Manager protection manager that is paired with this protection manager for recovery.
For the Available datacenters, select at least one datacenter from which the NARS remote service can connect with Zerto, to assist Abiquo in managing the disaster recovery.
