Theme management privileges

The basic theme management privileges are Manage default themes and Manage reseller themes, which let the user access these themes in the UI.

Abiquo 6.1.3 introduced a new privilege to Manage theme login configuration. This privilege lets the cloud administrator control if the user can manage the login elements.

If the user does not have the Manage theme login configuration privilege, they cannot change the Domains, Login css configuration, or Cookies bar.

Restrict domains for reseller themes

In Abiquo 6.1.3+, the systems administrator can restrict the list of domains for use in reseller themes. An example of the use case for this feature is to ensure that the reseller administrators cannot overwrite the default login theme.

To create a list of domains that users cannot brand:

  1. Log in to the API server and edit the abiquo.properties file

  2. Add the abiquo.themes-management.excluded.domains property and enter a list of prohibited domains, separated by commas

  3. Save the abiquo.properties file and restart the Tomcat service
