Users create private networks from virtual datacenters, so from the infrastructure, an administrator can:

To display private networks:
Go to Infrastructure

view, and select a datacenter, then go to Networks → Private.
On the left of the Private network networks screen, an expanding tree provides network information ordered hierarchically by enterprise and virtual datacenter.
To filter the networks by enterprise, enter text in the search box.
When you click a private network in the expanding tree, the right pane page shows the list of network IP addresses.
The default VLAN network for a virtual datacenter may be either the auto-created private
VLANnetwork
, named default_network
, or another private VLANnetwork, shown in bold, a public network, or an external VLAN. External VLANs are managed network. You can manage external networks on the External tab page and assigned assign them to an enterprise's datacenters or virtual datacenters. You can override the default private network for a virtual datacenter in Virtual Datacenters viewmyCloud view by editing a new default network.

The PRIVATE Private IPs pane contains the detail of each of the IPs of the selected internal VLAN.

To navigate through the pages, use the page scroll.
Reserved The platform marks reserved private IPs are marked with a padlock symbol. The administrator can assign these IPs to VMs outside of the platform. See also Note about reserved Reserve private IPs for vCenter with DVS.
