This page describes how you can manage enterprise products to sell managed services, such as WAF, or software licenses, installations, or other items.

To price enterprise products, create extra charges with cost codes and prices. Then, for enterprises to purchase the products, add the extra charges for each product on the Enterprise products tab.

Display enterprise products

To display enterprise products, the user will need the privilege for this action, and access to the enterprise or the user icon menu.

  • Go to Users view, select an enterprise, and then go to Enterprise products

Create an extra charge for an enterprise product

To charge enterprises for enterprise products, first create extra charges for pricing the enterprise products.

To create an extra charge for an enterprise product:

  1. Go to Pricing view

  2. In the Extra charges pane, click + add

  3. Enter the details of the Extra charge with a cost code

    1. Select For the Enterprise product type

      Type, select Enterprise product or All

    2. For the Unit, select Subscription or One-time

    3. You can then add initial prices for the enterprise product and customize the prices in pricing models.

  4. If the enterprise doesn’t have a pricing model, assign a pricing model to activate billing. See Pricing view.
    If the enterprise already has a pricing model, to apply the charge in the current month, you may need to update pricing. See Update pricing and generate billing

Charge an enterprise for an enterprise product

When you add an enterprise product, a charge will be added to the customer’s next bill.

To charge an enterprise for an enterprise product, add an extra charge to the enterprise.

  1. Go to Users view and select the enterprise

  2. Go to Enterprise products

  3. Select the enterprise

  4. Click + add

  5. Select the Extra charge for the enteprise product

Tip

You can also allow administrators to edit the products for their enterprise from the user icon menu option (as for enterprise credentials).

The platform will add the enterprise product and charge the enterprise for it in the next bill.

You can add the same enterprise product more than once.

Delete enterprise products

When you add an enterprise product, the platform will add the charge to the enterprise’s bill. When you remove the enterprise product, the charge will remain in the bill. This action requires an extra privilege.

To delete an enterprise product:

  1. Select the enterprise product

  2. Click the trash bin delete button

  3. Confirm the delete

If you want to remove a charge from customer bill, you should do this in your billing system.
