Protect VM padlock button on the VM control panel
Privileges: Protect virtual machine
Blocks actions on a VM in the platform by users who do not have the privilege
The VM must be ON, PAUSED, or OFF
The Cause (or reason) for protecting the VM will display together with the administrator's Name in the VM General details
A padlock symbol displays on the top left corner of the VM icon
The status bar of the VM icon changes to display MAINTENANCE. You can customize this status in the UI labels
