Modify a public cloud region
To modify a public cloud region:
Go to Infrastructure → Public
Select the datacenter or public cloud region
Click the pencil edit button at the bottom of the Datacenters list
Enter the new Name
To modify the remote services in an existing public cloud region:
Go to Remote services
To replace a remote service with an existing remote service, click on the down arrow to the right of the Remote service and select the new remote service
To remove a remote service, click the
x
beside itTo display the status of the remote service from the last manual or automatic infrastructure check, click the Check button and the status indicator will show green or red (not available).
Do not save if any remote services are not available
When you have edited all the remote services, click Save.
Delete a public cloud region
Before you begin
Delete virtual infrastructure, such as virtual datacenters and storage volumes defined within the public cloud region. For more information, see Manage virtual datacenters.
To delete a public cloud region
Go to Infrastructure → Public
Select public cloud region and click the trash bin delete button in the button bar at the bottom of the Datacenters list
When you delete a public cloud region, the remote services will be detached from the public cloud region, but not deleted from the platform.
To delete multiple remote services:
Go to Infrastructure → Remote services
Select the remote services and click the trash bin delete button.
