Abiquo hybrid cloud platform supports a hierarchy of tenants for user and tenant management, as well as shared resources such as templates and blueprints |
In Abiquo 4.5, through the Abiquo API you can now retrieve the tenants under a reseller or a key node.
The use case is a clearly defined hierarchy of scopes. Each scope should contain a parent node and the direct tenants that it manages. Each enterprise in the scope must have the same default scope.
In future versions, administrators will be able to display aggregate statistics and billing data for resellers and key nodes. This could currently be achieved with custom billing output.
The following diagram shows a sample tenant scope hierarchy. So, for example, for the Unit1 tenant, you can retrieve the key node, which is Customer1, and the Reseller, which is Reseller1. This would also be the same for the Department1 tenant, which must have the scope Dept1.
For more information about how to create a tenant hierarchy and resellers, see Manage scopes and Create a reseller administrator user.
