In Abiquo 6.0, you can add a bootstrap script to a VM template when you edit the template. So system administrators will now be able to configure a single script at the template level and the platform will copy it to all VMs created from the template. |
Abiquo 6.0 enables you to add a bootstrap script to a VM template when you edit the VM template.
When you duplicate the VM template, Abiquo will also copy the bootstrap script.
Then every time you create a VM from the template, Abiquo will include the bootstrap script.
If VM users can edit the VM, they can modify the bootstrap script.
If you create an instance of a VM, then Abiquo will include the bootstrap script of the VM to the instance template.
The bootstrap script functionality for templates has the same specifications as the bootstrap script functionality for VMs. For more details see VM bootstrap script.
