Abiquo 5.2.1 introduces single sign on (SSO) for Abiquo Reporting, which is compatible with Abiquo's OpenID and SAML integrations as well as Abiquo's 2FA. SSO makes it easier for users to work with Reports by automatically logging them into the Reports system.

When users click the Reports button, the Abiquo user interface will open JasperReports as before and send an authentication token. This will enable Reports to authenticate the Abiquo user. With token authentication, users will not be directly open the Reports system without going through the Abiquo UI.

Abiquo will continue to support the existing external database authentication and token authentication can optionally replace it.
